Every time I see one of these Lahaina banyan trees, I’m amazed at their root system and at how their branches can extend for such large distances. They are truly an amazing tree and so beautiful. There’s nothing more amazing than a colorful sunrise or sunset. I love watching the sun shine through the clouds as nature puts on a show that includes a seemingly infinite array of reds, purples, silvers, and blacks. This spectacular Kauai sunrise is probably my favorite of all time. I can recall the tropical breeze on my face as I watched, mesmerized, by the incredible colors.
