During our walk around the Byodo-In Temple, we went to an upper garden area where we found this beautiful Byodo-In Temple orchid. I just love the colors!

The colors in this sunset were so spectacular I just had to keep on shooting!

Oahu sunset at the harbor — This is one of my favorite times of the day. When the sky is still blue, but the lights are coming on and there are a few stars twinkling.

Outrigger canoe along the shore of Kahanamoku Beach in Waikiki — I couldn’t resist the chance to get this shot. With the sun just up, the shadows were still long and the light just perfect!

Waikīkī at dawn — Waikiki creates a stunning skyline early in the morning at Kahanamoku Beach.

Koi at Byodo-In Temple — It’s so peaceful to watch the koi swim.

Turtle friend eying the camera — This turtle at Byodo-In Temple seemed very interested by the camera.

Massive gong at Byodo-In Temple — While we were at the Byodo-In Temple, we often heard a deep, melodic tone. This was the source and any visitor can give it a try!
