Look closely at the underside of the picnic table and you'll see raindrops hanging on the edge with the sunlight just starting to stream through. Shadowridge and Melrose – streets at night

This photo our local streets at night was so much fun to take. It's the first time I've dipped my toe into the world of long-exposure photography. Sunrise over Shadowridge Golf Course in Vista

I woke up this morning, looked out and saw the clouds on the horizon, and just knew we were going to have a spectacular sunrise. This one was easy to get to because it's just a short walk through Shadowridge Golf Course to this spot. I definitely did not want to miss it and am so glad I didn't.
