Originally, I hadn’t intended to share these photos of the Palm Desert Holocaust Memorial because I know how emotionally challenging they can be. In fact, I took relatively few photos during our visit. My wife, Kathy, took at least as many as I did. Some of these are hers; some are mine.

The Amazon Impersonator scam is raking in big bucks for scammers. About one in three victims of impersonator scams report that the person who contacted them claimed to be from Amazon. It’s reported that from July 2020 to June 2021, scammers made $27 million off of this one.

The Cabrillo National Monument tide pools are one of those places that the crowds come and go with…well, the tide. We were fortunate to arrive 30 minutes into a .7 foot low tide, which was almost perfect timing. I say ‘almost perfect’ because we, literally, got the last parking space.
