Here are three Christmas treats for anyone who wants to read stories of the season. Two San Diego fiction writers recently posted short fiction to their blogs and Kings River Life Magazine is busy posting Christmas-themed stories.
From novelist R. Ann Siracusa, here’s a very short “Urgent Message from Santa Claus.” This one will take less than a minute to read, but should keep you laughing far longer. The urgent message is at www.rannsiracusa.com/1/post/2013/12/urgent-message-from-santa-claus.html.
Romance writer R.W. Richard maintains a blog titled, “Romance: the male POV.” This week, he posted a short Christmas story called Christmas Wings. He describes it as an “inspirational romance with the same whimsical theme as ‘It’s a Wonderful Life.’” Christmas Wings is at romancetheguyspov.blogspot.com/2013/12/a-christmas-romanceshort-story.html.
On “Kings River Life Magazine,” a new short Christmas mystery was on December 23. If you’re a mystery fan, “The Problem with Santa Claus” might give you just what you’re looking for. Find the story at kingsriverlife.com/12/23/the-problem-with-santa-claus-a-christmas-mystery-short-story/.
