Byodo-In Temple Sacred Bell pagoda
This is the pagoda where the Sacred Bell is housed at the Byodo-In Temple. The temple is actually a replica of 11th Century temple in Uji, Japan. The Byodo-In Temple was built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first Japanese immigrants to Hawaii. Here’s a fun fact: the Byodo-In Temple was included in episodes of Magnum, P.I. and the original Hawaii Five-0.
