At the Iolani Palace gate

One of our most memorable moments during our last Honolulu trip was the visit to ‘‘Iolani Palace. The history is amazing and truly highlights the grandeur of the times as well as a terrible case of betrayal. While waiting for our tour to start, I took this shot of this Iolani Palace gate. It felt eerie being there in a moment when everything seemed so quiet and there were no cars or pedestrians on the street beyond.
