Spectacular New Zealand water off Tauranga coastline

July 21, 2023 By Terry

During our visit to New Zealand, we saw some amazing sights. Some happened in the most ordinary places. This photo of New Zealand water was taken at a private residence in Tauranga. I kept thinking that if I had that view, I’d never move!

Puzzle Help

Click to view the puzzle image overlaid on the puzzle. Click again to remove the overlay.

The ghost lets you choose the opacity of the overlay. If you want to see the image on top of all or part of your puzzle, this is helpful.

You may choose to arrange (line the pieces up around the edges) or disarrange the puzzle pieces. (For more, see Help)

General settings, including Restart and Help (how to move pieces, save the game, arrange and disarrange, etc.)

Maximize the puzzle on Jigsaw Planet. When you’re done, you can return to this site.

Book and a Latte Contest

This jigsaw puzzle of New Zealand water is the third in my July series. If you work the puzzle and leave a comment below that includes your time, you’ll receive an entry into the Book & a Latte contest. The winner will receive a $5.00 Starbucks gift card and a Kindle version of one of my books. Be sure to check next week’s Friday Morning Post, where I’ll announce the average and best times.

I mentioned that this view is at a private residence. In fact, the owner of the property is a Maori guide who works for the tour company. He was kind enough to allow us to visit and take photos. I posted about this particular day in 2019 and said that I was amazed at the similarities in the Hawaiian and Maori cultures. Not only do their cultures have a lot of similarities, but they both went through periods in history when missionaries tried to eradicate any trace of that culture. I’m so happy that both of them were able to survive those misguided efforts.

Did you see last week’s entry? You can find it at The tortoise and the egret jigsaw puzzle. Click here to view more Friday Morning Post entries, or you can follow me on Twitter.

About Terry

I started out as a skip tracer. Just in case you don’t know, that’s the guy who finds the people who don’t want to be found. It was the little things—getting paid to lie—that made skip tracing the fun part of the job.

Those years of chasing deadbeats taught me many valuable life lessons, such as liars come from all walks of life, and always keep your car in the garage.
