I’ve posted some photos of Maui’s Kepaniwai Heritage Gardens previously. The day we were there it was raining and the clouds were moving in through the mountains in ever-changing patterns. One minute, gray mist enshrouded the mountaintops, the next the mountains were back. The waterfalls and the river behind the park were running full force thanks to the rain.
We spent a long time wandering around, ducking under the cover of pagoda and trees when the mist turned heavier. The visit to Heritage Gardens was a trip I’d love to repeat. The peacefulness of Heritage Gardens is pure magic and the surrounding calm immense.

The garden is beautiful & peaceful. I’d love to wander through it. In Fredericksburg, Texas there is a garden, the Japanese Garden of Peace, that was designed & created by Taketora Saita. The work was done by Japanese gardeners & the garden is a gift to the people of the United States from the Japanese people to honor Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz. It’s located in the National Museum of the Pacific War complex. I really enjoy wandering through the beautiful gardens via your blog.
