This past weekend, Kathy and I were supposed to get away to the little mountain town of Idyllwild. We had a delightful, relaxing weekend planned with sightseeing, hiking, and plenty of downtime as our staples. Then, bam!, the temperatures spiked in the mountains. If I’m being honest, 2025 has been a tough year, and we were afraid we couldn’t take the heat (but, enough of that downer stuff!), so we made a change in our plans. Still, I loved this story so much that that I decided to keep Idyllwild as the subject of this week’s post. (I’ll tell you what really happened next week.) For now, let’s take a look at last week’s results and then dive into today’s tail-wagging fun post to learn all about Idyllwild’s canine head honcho, Mayor Max!
Last week’s puzzle was a crowd pleaser, right? Those orchids really seemed to start everyone’s day off right. I agree with Laura, who said the orchids made her want to go back to Hawaii (I sure do!). The average time was 7 minutes 33 seconds, and the fastest time was 4 minutes 21 seconds! Whoa! At that time, I was still trying to find my edge pieces. My time was 11 minutes 4 seconds, which was actually fast for me. (It must have been all the caffeine.)
Thanks to everyone for playing and commenting! I really appreciate your participation.
