I love white hibiscus
I absolutely love white hibiscus, and these guys obviously love the sun. Actually, I love any hibiscus, whether they’re red, orange, yellow, or any of the other colors. The lush green leaves of the plants seem to convey a sense of calm. These were especially beautiful because they’re a pure white with only a red stamen.
The ancestors of these plants might have been native to Hawaii, but they also could have come from Mauritius, Madagascar, Fiji, China, or India. In California, we have a huge variety of hibiscus. In fact, we have five different varieties in our yard alone. I don’t know that I could say one is my favorite—I love them all. There is something special about the hibiscus in Hawaii, though. With the regular rainfall, they grow bigger, stronger, and produce magnificent flowers.
