Mr. Turtle at Byodo-In Temple

Say hello to Mr. Turtle from Byodo-In Temple!. He was an inquisitive little guy, coming up out of the water to take a peek at people. I’m not sure, but he might have even smiled for the camera. Okay, that might be a stretch, but he was there on the shore and I was not about to miss the opportunity. This would probably be a pretty good place to be a turtle—lots of zen and smooth waters.
