Welcome to the Bishop Museum

One of our “must-do” items for our last trip to Hawai‘i was a trip to Bishop Museum. In all the trips we’ve made, we’d never been there. Most of the time, we weren’t on O‘ahu, but that’s another story. This time, I was determined. And I am so glad we did this. The place is simply amazing. As I said in the caption, welcome to a place where history is a passion and the passion in history shows. The museum has so many different eras represented. The rich interior is apparent in this photo and, if you look at the top, you’ll see a pair of sea turtles “swimming” through the air. The docents we talked to were so friendly and a very cool thing is you can take a tour using your smartphone.
