Friday Fotos – a Maui sunset takes center stage

This beautiful Maui sunset photo, taken by Deborah Parker, captures the late afternoon perfectly. I’m not seeing Lāna‘i anywhere and am wondering exactly where this might have been taken.

I have some similar Maui sunset photos from Lahaina. They were taken during our last stay as I was trying to capture the late-afternoon ambience on Wharf St. for a novella in the upcoming Happy Homicides anthology. There are subtle differences between this photo and mine, so I wonder if this might have been taken at a resort outside of Lahaina.
