Friday Fotos—Anini Beach beckons as winter closes in

I originally posted this photo taken along Anini Beach Road as part of a slide show in June. At that time, I said that there’s very little traffic on Anini Beach Road once you get past the county park. We walked to the end of the road and the further we went, the fewer people we saw. This photo was taken where the paved road turns to dirt. There are houses on one side, beach on the other. Families like to come here to picnic and young people like to do other things. On this particular walk, it’s easy to get lost and forget about the world. So, as winter closes in, let’s all take a little virtual trip along Anini Beach Road.

Along Anini Beach Road there are many spots where beautiful beaches are empty.
