It’s time for another change up this week. Here’s a short video I took while we were on Kauai at Spouting Horn. It was a long walk to get there because we began our trek at Lawai Beach, which is just over a mile down the road. Of course, this is Kauai’s south side, so it was warm even early in the day. By the time we got to Spouting Horn and walked back to the car, we were hot, tired, and thirsty! The tourists were showing up in tour buses and it was fun to see them come in, get their fifteen minutes or so, then get hustled back on the bus.
By the way, I’m always on the lookout for good Hawaii photos. If you have some you’d like to share, let me know and we’ll talk about featuring your shots on Friday Fotos!

That’s so funny, Kay! Kids come up with the funniest things that make perfect sense to them. And the blowholes make the ocean sound like its in pain, so I could see how you’d have thought that!

It is so hot and dry right now in the SF Bay Area, and we are having home renovations done so a/c off most of the day – just watching this makes me feel cooler!

When we lived in Alameda, we were told the heat never lasted more than three days. In the 13 years we were there, it never did!

I was afraid of those as a kid. I thought the ocean was broken somehow.
