One of the really great aspects of Kauai is that it’s family-friendly. Like the other islands, there are plenty of bank-account busting things to do. But, even if you don’t want to spend a fortune on zip lines, horse rides, kayaks, or a helicopter ride, there are plenty of places everyone will appreciate. Kamalani Playground is a must-see when you visit. It’s in a beautiful setting. There are places to picnic just footsteps away. The beach is easily accessible. And, best of all, it’s free.
Pack the keiki because it’s time to head out to Lydgate Park on the East side of Kauai, where the trees are green, the water’s blue, and Kamalani Park is a gem waiting to be discovered. Come discover this kids playground that adults will love to explore, too.
