Last week I had one of the shoreline photos from Ke‘Anae Peninsula on Mau‘i. This time, we're looking in the opposite direction from almost the same point. Here's a Happy New Year wish for everyone! This photo was taken on Maui at the Ke‘Anae Peninsula during our Road to Hana tour in May. We had a short break here and were able to walk along the shore. This photo was taken during our last trip to Maui in May. The water was warm and the seas calm. It seems the perfect wish to everyone during this holiday season. Friday Fotos – St Augustine by the Sea Church

During our last visit to Honolulu, we kept seeing this building from our condo. The architecture intrigued me and so we went to find it. It's St Augustine by the Sea Roman Catholic Church I had to get a few photos. This gorgeous building turns out to have come from very humble beginnings. The parish was founded in 1854.
