We’re currently in Willits, CA, the official Gateway to the Redwoods. There’s a vibe in the air here, one that speaks of more rustic times when the speed of life was slower and simpler. Today, we’ll tour the Avenue of the Giants, and then tomorrow, we head to Brookings, OR, the subject of today’s post. I’ll come back to the redwoods, but for now, we’re continuing on with another celebration about the coming of all those beautiful fall colors.
Last week’s Fall Leaf Tour jigsaw puzzle was a tough one. The fastest time was still over five minutes at 5:41, but the average was 12 minutes 8 seconds. Somehow (and, I really don’t know how!) I ended up close to the middle of the pack at 17:41. Finally, thanks, everyone, for the comments about the fall leaves and the season. It appears that this shoulder season has a lot of fans!
