Route 66 road trip

Just like any great road trip, this week’s all about saying goodbye to Route 66. The “End of the Trail” sign is at the Santa Monica Pier, but guess what? The pier wasn’t always the end of the road. To find out more, head over to today’s post!

Thanks, everyone, for posting your times and comments last week. I especially loved Karen M.’s comment of, “Nice place to visit but I wouldn’t want to live there.” So true! The average time for last week’s puzzle was 7 minutes 44 seconds, and the best was a speedy 4 minutes 36 seconds. And I appear to be part turtle because I came in at thirteen minutes 34 seconds. By the way, because I do love turtles, especially the Hawaiian Honu (one of my favorite T-shirts had a Honu on it).
