Get ready to hit the brakes and take a detour into history! This week, I’m shining a spotlight on Devil’s Elbow, a gem along the legendary Route 66 that’s equal parts charm and nostalgia. From its iconic steel truss bridge to the serene Big Piney River, this destination is a postcard-worthy reminder of America’s road trip heyday. Oh, and I’ve got a little fun new jigsaw puzzle that lets you piece together the beauty and history of Devil’s Elbow from the comfort of your couch. Adventurers and puzzle fans alike, this one’s for you!
What a range of times in last week’s Chain of Rocks puzzle! Mr. Pokey here came in at 15:51, which gave me plenty of opportunity to appreciate the challenge. The best time was an impressive 5:41—kudos for that one! The average time across all the comments was 8:46, so it seems like most of us found a good rhythm. I can totally relate to a couple of the comments. I’d have to see the bridge before I decided to walk across it! And, I agree about those motor courts. The motor courts might be gone, but with trends like tiny homes coming into fashion, I’m hearing echoes of the past.
