Ten years ago this month, I wrote a scam tip about the Walmart check scam. It’s hard to believe, but that’s still one of my most popular scam tips. The problem with that old post is that it is dated—scammers have new tricks up their sleeves, technologies have changed, etc. So, this month’s scam tip is a revisit to this scam that continues to reap money for the bad guys. I hope this one will save a few people the anguish of being scammed.
