Calm water at Honolulu Harbor early in the morning
There’s something breathtaking about the beauty of a marina of any size at dawn. On this particular morning, I had some time to take a walk down to the Honolulu Harbor. The light felt like it softened the scene and was perfect as I strolled around snapping photos every few seconds. I liked this view because I was able to get right in the middle of the two rows of boats. As you can see from the water’s surface, there were no winds to speak of.
This was the same morning that I caught a paddle boarder going out by himself. I’m not sure how far out he was going, but looked to be enjoying his solitude. I was surprised at how few people were around while I strolled. But the longer I walked around, the more who showed up. I knew that before long the area would be teeming with tourists staying at the nearby Hilton Hawaiian Village. With that in mind, I relished each moment of this beautiful morning.
