Approaching the falls at Milford Sound — I found a spot on the front of the boat as we neared the falls. Didn’t give up until the spray became dangerous to my camera’s health!

An experience to remember at Stirling Falls

I really thought I was done with photos from Milford Sound, but then I came across this and remembered the experience. Standing on the bow of the boat, I had one of the prime spots for getting the best shot of Stirling Falls. While most were inside to avoid the spray, I wanted to savor every second of this moment. I’ve heard there are some cruises that will take you under the falls, but we didn’t quite go that far. Close enough, though! It was a great experience.
