The first time we saw the Pineapple Dump from a distance, we had no idea what is was. And back in 2012 when I took this photo, there was no real signage, so even when we got there we had no idea what it was. By doing some research, I discovered this was where the pineapple remnants were disposed of after processing. There’s nice signage now at the Pineapple Dump, which means anyone who makes the trek to this location should have no problem learning the history of the island.
