Hawaiian ginger is always a beautiful sight

This Hawaiian ginger was growing in the yard of the house we rented on the Big Island near Hilo. While visited a ginger seller on Maui, we learned that you can crush the leaves and they emit a heavenly scent. The great thing is you can do that as often as you like!

Very nice pictures. My husband and I have been to Hawaii twice. Once for our honeymoon and once on our 10 year wedding anniversary. It was a blast both times, and everything is so beautiful there. We went to Maui and Kawi(sp) islands.
