Along the trail at Akaka Falls
The title of this photo is “Along the trail to Akaka Falls.” The problem with this photo is I’m not one-hundred percent sure that’s where I took this one! It was either there or further north on one of the side roads off the main highway. Either way, this photo was taken on the Big Island where there are so many things to see. Amongst those are the trees overhead! It pays to look up because you never know what beautiful sight will be up there.

You can plan the trip, book the helicopter, have the camera, but can't control the weather. We had clouds and rain on our Big Island tour, but it was a blast anyway!
Lapahoehoe is an absolutely gorgeous place where serenity seems to hang in the air. Inner peace in a place with a tragic past.
