Liliuokalani Park in Hilo is paradise

A friend of mine who lived on O‘ahu once told me I should put Liliuokalani Park and Coconut Island on my list of things to do the next time we visited the Big Island. When we were there on our last trip in March, we made it to the park and were amazed at the beauty. Ponds and walking paths weave between lush lawns filling the park with a sense of peace and calm. It was a marvelous stop and I wish we’d have had more time to spend. This is the kind of place a photographer could spend all day roaming around and looking for that next great shot!
