Byodo-In Temple Lagoon View
Our visit to the Byodo-In Temple was well worth the trip. This was one of the places on my “must see” list and even though it was undergoing a major restoration during our visit, I’m happy we got there. This is just one small section of the temple. The front is currently a spiderweb of scaffolding, but eventually the owner intends to restore the temple to its full glory. By the way, this is a privately owned attraction with the modest entrance fees going to support its continued existence.

AT AGE 86 I AM STILL ENJOYING MY WEEKLY TRIPS TO HAWAII EVEN IF I WILL NEVER BE THERE MYSELF. SO THANK YOU.
I love going there. Sometimes wispy clouds stick in the hills, giving it a ‘lost in the Himalayas’ feel. I definitely think McKenna needs a story there!
It would be fun to do a story there.
