Friday Fotos—a trip to Salt Pond Beach on Kauai

Our trips to Salt Pond Beach on Kauai are always fun. We take a picnic lunch, grab a table in the shade, and enjoy the warm breezes, the sunny skies, and, or course, the crashing surf. This shot was taken back in May when we were there and needed to be out of the condo while we were having some work done. After a trip up to Kokee Beach Park, we came down out of the cold to the warmth and enjoyed the return to the beautiful, and quiet, Salt Pond Beach.

I so enjoy your pictures. I had a stop over in Hawaii around 40 years ago on a military flight, as I was headed to Bangkok, to join my husband. I’ve never forgotten what a beautiful view it was.
