In the newly released “Paradise, Passion, Murder: 10 Tales of Mystery from Hawai‘i,” there’s a McKenna story that begins in the Palapala Hoomau Church along the Road to Hana. The story has all sorts of little details about the most famous “resident” on these grounds, Charles Lindbergh. Yes, this is the great aviator’s final resting place and much of the story centers around what happens at the gravesite. This is a locked-room mystery on a tour bus. There are nine other authors who contributed their series characters to the anthology, too. All proceeds benefit Read Aloud America, which works to promote literacy in Hawai‘i.
Please take a moment to check out the book, which is on preorder right now on Amazon. We’ll also have soft cover copies and ePub versions available in the near future. This was a great project and the stories range from sad to hilarious, mystery to suspense. Please check out the book, which includes stories from JoAnn Bassett, Gail Baugniet, Frankie Bow, Kay Hadashi, Laurie Hanan, Jill Marie Landis, AJ Llewellyn, Toby Neal, and CW Schutter. Our editor was Lorna Collins and we’re all so excited about this project!
