In the wake of the devastating Colorado wild fires that have burned more than 17,000 acres and destroyed almost 350 homes, residents are faced with a new threat—criminal activity. The crimes being perpetrated fall into two categories: burglaries of evacuated homes and cons that have the potential to steal thousands of dollars from unsuspecting homeowners.
