This morning we had a bit of condo business to take care of, a meeting with our insurance agent to discuss switching our policy to a new company. That went well enough and after that, we’d intended to go boogie boarding. We had our boards in the trunk, suits in the bag and high expectations. Unfortunately, when we got to Kalapaki Bay, where we’d heard that they had good boogie boarding for beginners, we found that the waves were. . .flat. There were only a few surfers and nobody with a boogie board in sight. . .except us, of course.
That brings us to this afternoon. Instead of boogie boarding, we decided to go snorkeling at Lydgate Park. Sounds simple enough. We’ve got the gear. We’re ready. Until Kathy started not feeling well. So, today we had two false starts. Soon, very soon, we need to do some work around the condo. Whether we’ll make it out tomorrow or not, I don’t know. I’m hoping so because the weather’s going turn in a couple of days. . .it’s only going to be 81 instead of 83 or 84.
We ended up at the pool for a couple of hours, then topped that off by sitting on the lanai at the end of the day and relaxing a bit. So, here are a couple of photos: sunrise on the beach and sunset from our lanai.
