Friday Fotos — Panorama Pineapple Dump

Here’s a panorama shot taken on Kauai’s Pineapple Dump. If you’ve never seen this structure, it’s quite impressive. It juts out over the water and is where the Hawaiian Pineapple Canning Company used to dump the pineapple remnants after the canning process. The ocean churns below and would serve as a natural disposal for the waste. The shore here is rocky and definitely not suitable for much other than admiring.

Have you heard about the scam concerning the return of phone calls to the 809 area code? I understand it is something north of $2,300.00 per minute.
