Big Island waterfalls abound - near Laupahoehoe
We were on the backroad north of Hilo near Laupahoehoe and came across this waterfall.

We found this waterfall while exploring on a back road on our return trip from Laupahoehoe to Hilo. This one was along the old highway, which is seldom used. The trip, though short, took us through areas that were stunning. It was a very nice way to avoid the main highway and the Big Island version of traffic.
