We expected the Auckland War Memorial to be an amazing place, and it fully lived up to those expectations. The most sobering time spent viewing the Spitfire display at the memorial was at the Roll of Honour, on which the names of New Zealand's fallen soldiers are engraved. One of the coolest places we visited during our 2019 trip to New Zealand was a kiwi farm. It was a hot day in the valley where this farm is located, but under the shade of the kiwis, it was cool and pleasant.
