Sometimes, it doesn’t matter how much you plan. Last week, I told you about our planned trip to Idyllwild. We were so ready to meet Mayor Max, but Mother Nature had other plans. Being a couple of wimps from near the coast, we didn’t like the idea of 90+ with 10-15% humidity. As you’ll see in today’s post, I think our trip actually turned out better because the change required us to ditch all the planning. I hope you enjoy today’s post as much as we enjoyed the trip.
I really apprciate all of the comments last week about Mayor Max and the puzzle. A number of you loved the idea of a canine mayor—I do, too! He’s probably the best PR guy in the business! Times for last week’s mountain sunset puzzle were fast! The quickest was 3 minutes and 38 seconds (wow, just wow.) Actually, the average wasn’t that far behind at 6 minutes 13 seconds. And, of course, was in the back of the pack at 9 minutes 2 seconds. Have fun with this week’s puzzle—it’s a hugely colorful interpretation of a coastal sunset.
