The last time we were in Honolulu, we took a hop-on, hop-off tour. It was a blast—and it was exhausting. We were about midway through the tour when we got off for the Foster Botanical Gardens. Wow! Were we impressed! They’ve got plants and trees from around the world, some of which are nearly extinct.
One of the standouts at the garden was the orchid greenhouse. It’s an incredible place that, as I say in today’s post, I’d love to revisit. In today’s fourth (and final) Hawaii stop, we’re heading to O‘ahu, where we’ll make a stop at this amazing place. And, don’t worry, there’s a cool jigsaw puzzle to boot!
Last week’s puzzle drew several comments about Queen Liluokalani Park looking so peaceful. I agree with you all—it’s one of those places that just oozes tranquility. But just because the park is tranquil, it doesn’t mean your times were. The fastest time was an astounding 3 minutes 39 seconds, while the average was a more sedate 7 minutes 22 seconds. As usual, I brought up the rear at a very tranquil 14 minutes 58 seconds.
