Let’s finish off January right with three final butterfly shots from our trip to the San Diego Safari Park’s Butterfly Jungle Exhibit. For this first shot, I was able to get in nice and close. With his brown, orange, and white stripes, this guy is so colorful!
There are plenty of colors going on in this exhibit. The butterflies love the bright colors, and as I’ve said before, those who are experienced know to wear reds, yellows, and other vibrant colors to attract our little flying friends. These two seem to like yellow. I wonder exactly what they’re doing.
Here’s a final photo to enjoy. Black, white, with a little splash of color. To borrow a line from The Bird Cage, everybody needs a little splash of color!
The San Diego Zoo Safari Park’s Butterfly Jungle will run this year from March 20 – May 9. It was a great experience when we went, so if you’re in San Diego during those times, you might want to consider a visit! Check out last week’s photo, Beautiful butterfly just hanging out.
