Welcome to this week’s Friday post and puzzle. This week, we’re continuing the Route 66 virtual road trip with a stop that’s become a sort of icon in music, literature, and the big screen. I’m talking about Tucumcari, New Mexico. If you were a country rock fan in the 70s, you’re probably familiar with the lyrics, “I’ve been from Tucson to Tucumcari.” Well, this week, our Route 66 stop is Tucumcari. Join me for some fun facts about this amazing little town.
Based on the times, last week’s Palo Duro puzzle was an easy one. The average time was 8 minutes 7 seconds, and the best time was 4 minutes 20 seconds. As usual, I was at the back of the pack with a hefty 13 minutes 1 second. Maybe, someday, I’ll get faster, but for now, that’s the way the puzzle pieces fall click together!
