This week’s stop along the Mother Road took me by surprise. I didn’t expect much from a canyon in Texas, but then I heard about the Spanish explorer Coronado and his quest for the mythical Seven Cities of Gold. Turns out, this canyon has a rich history that goes beyond its natural beauty.
So buckle up, because we’re heading to Palo Duro Canyon State Park in the heart of Texas. And don’t forget to pack your shovel, in case we stumble upon some treasure!
Last week’s puzzle was an easy one. The best time was just 4 minutes and 52 seconds, with the average solving time being 6 minutes and 14 seconds. My time? Well, I was at the top of the pack at 10 minutes and 59 seconds. (I know, my mom always taught me to look on the bright side!) Join me for this week’s puzzle, and be sure to leave your times!
PS: If you happen to live in the San Diego area, considering stopping by the Local Author Fair at Carlsbad Dove Library, where I’ll be making a rare public appearance. It should be fun!
