Repairs Shouldn’t Be Risky Business

January was a sobering month for us here in Southern California. Climate change, once again, reared its ugly head and devasted the Los Angeles area with wildfires that surrounded the entire metropolitan area. Rather than focusing on a romance scam, which was my original intent, this month’s scam tip looks at disaster scams because these scams often happen in the wake of natural disasters. With that in mind, let’s take a look at how we can protect ourselves from falling victim to opportunistic criminals.
