In Seaside Cove, every truffle has a dark side.

To Rick's chagrin, his daughter Alex launches her own shadow investigation before the crime scene has been cleared. When the official investigation stalls for lack of evidence, and Alex comes up with a new clue, Rick realizes solving a murder is easier than parenting a teenager!

Writing News

It's a book launch month for me. And that means I'm focusing on finding any last little errors that always seem to plague a manuscript. I'd like to thank my advance readers for helping with the launch by reading and putting their eagle eyes on the pages. They've spotted some gotchas that had slipped through, and I truly appreciate their attention to detail!

Because I'm just wrapping up the Seaside Cove book and starting the actual writing of the next Beachtown Detective Agency mystery, this is one of those weird months where I feel torn in many different directions. In about a month, though, I'll be deep into writing again. At least, that's the plan. And we all know what happens to those best-laid plans.
