At long last, I finally have the Advance Review Copies of the next Beachtown Detective Agency mystery ready for download. My intention was to have this book to you months ago, but life got in the way.
I don't normally go into the details of book-writing challenges, but this time, it's a bit different. The reason this book took so long is that I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in March. Shortly afterwards, I went on a combination of radiation and hormone therapy.
While the therapies have brought the disease under control, the side effects have taken their toll on my productivity. Consequently, everything has taken more time than usual. I will be on hormone therapy for another year, which means the side effects will probably be with me for at least that long. What that means for my productivity going forward, I don't know. The good news is that beyond the treatment period, the results are looking very promising.
I'm hoping you'll be able to read and review again, but believe me, if you can't, I'll understand. I’m very appreciative of your past help in promoting my new books, but if you need a break, it's no problem.
