Baked Jicama Fries

Baked Jicama Fries
These baked Jicama fries are a delicious side. Try them with guacamole, or indulge with some ranch salad dressing.

Ingredients
  • 1 medium jicama
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic granules
  • 1/4 teaspoon granulated onion
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Ingredients
  • 1 medium jicama
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic granules
  • 1/4 teaspoon granulated onion
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven 400°F. Peel jicama and cut into fries.
  2. Bring water to boil in medium saucepan on medium heat, add jicama and cook for 8 minutes until jicama is less crunchy.
  3. Drain water using a colander, transfer jicama slices in a large bowl and toss with olive oil, paprika, garlic, onion, cayenne pepper and sea salt.
  4. Place in a single layer on a prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until crispy, turning halfway.
