Welcome to another Friday Morning Post. This week, we'll be continuing our ghost town tour with a trip to Goldfield, AZ. Unlike many ghost towns, Goldfield has, well, struck gold once again. This time, it's in the form of tourism. To tell the story of Goldfield's original boom, then bust, and then its current boom, I've asked Lilah McBride, the owner of McBride's Saloon, to tell the tale. Oh, by the way, Lilah's a ghost. Get ready, we're going to visit Goldfield with someone who's lived through it all—well, sort of.
I hope you enjoyed last week's puzzle challenge! Several of you commented that it was tough due to the last of color variations. I agree. It was a hard one. I was thrilled to see so many of you diving into the world of ghost towns and sharing your experiences. My own time was 12 minutes and 41 seconds, but our fastest time was almost half that at 6 minutes and 52 seconds. The average time for last week's puzzle was 10 minutes 45 seconds. |
